Jensen is starting to be very aware of who is in the room with him. For example, when Shawn comes home from work, he wants Daddy to pick him up immediately. He will protest very loudly if that doesn't happen. I think that he knows that Daddy still exists even though he can't see him and he is yelling to make sure that Daddy knows that HE stills exists even though Daddy can't see him.

  I'm noticing every little new thing that Jensen does more so than with Josh. For example, I was holding something in my hand and he knew it was there and tried to pry my fingers open to get it. He's also dropping toys off of the exersaucer and watching them fall instead of forgetting that they exist. It's great fun! I just wish he would nap better, even as I write he is resisting taking a nap in his bed. About an hour is all I get.

  This is the third night that Jensen has been in his own room in his crib. It wasn't as hard as I thought and is getting better each night. Friday night was the first night and I was prepared for a long night. I slept on the couch and everything. He did great. He even wakes up to eat at about 5 or 6 am and will go back to sleep for a couple of hours after that. He fussed for a little bit off and on through out the night on Friday, but never completely cried. I miss him a little bit now that he's on his own, but I am sleeping better. It's just another milestone that makes me realize how much he's growing and how much fun we're having.
